Sealed

Wow, Beth Moore brought it in Session 5 of her Revelation series!

Although we are studying the book of Revelation, she took us to 2 other Scriptures to help us understand the "seal of God on their foreheads" from Revelation 9:4.

So, we went to Ephesians 1:13-14. "And you also were included in  Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation.  Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory."

Also, 2 Corinthians 1:21-22.  "Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ.  He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come."

Why should we doubt our salvation?  When we do, we are only listening to the enemy.  God has SEALED us!  We are HIS when we believe in the promise of Christ as our Savior!
